A before and after shot from a recent refurbishment to a chimney stack. We carried out a survey using a cherry picker to identify the repairs needed. In Nottingham’s historic Lace Market stands the National Justice Museum, housed within the Grade II-listed Shire Hall — a building we have recently carried out restoration work on. At the rear of the museum, within the historic exercise yard once used by inmates, the long boundary wall required significant repair. In Nottingham’s historic Lace Market stands the National Justice Museum, housed within the Grade II-listed Shire Hall — a building we have recently carried out restoration work on. At the western gable end, we accessed the high elevations using a cherry picker. The gable was first steam‑cleaned to remove vegetation, modern pollution and to reveal any hidden defects requiring repair. It was then redecorated with Keim mineral paint. A recent project we’ve undertaken is the restoration of the Grade II‑listed Shire Hall, home to the National Justice Museum in Nottingham’s historic Lace Market. On the main roof, the internal parapet along the front elevation required careful restoration, including repointing and repairs to the existing stonework. A recent project we’ve carried out is the restoration of the Grade II-listed Shire Hall, home to the National Justice Museum in Nottingham’s historic Lace Market. On the main roof, we supplied and fitted fine mesh within the glazed rooflights to prevent birds and insects entering the roof space, as the original material had deteriorated over time.
