National Justice Museum Restoration 7 - Rendering Repairs

In Nottingham’s Historic Lace Market area stands the National Justice Museum, situated within the grade II* listed Shire Hall, a building we have recently worked on.

Across the façade of Shire Hall, including the front elevation, there were significant rendering issues which had to be restored. To repair these cracks and scars in the original rendering the surrounding section had to be removed and repointed to match the existing façade. Loose masonry and stonework have also been repaired as you can see running along the top of this wall.
