A recent project we’ve been working on is the restoration of the grade II‑listed Shire Hall, home to the National Justice Museum in Nottingham’s historic Lace Market.
On the flat roof at the southern end of the building, several doorways required new lintels to strengthen the structure and improve the openings. Around the black door shown, the surrounding brickwork has been rebuilt with new brick repairs and repointed using traditional lime mortar.
