Roof and Gutter Repairs - Part 2.

Water ingress had caused serious damage to this historic property, including a collapsed lath‑and‑plaster ceiling and widespread decay throughout the roof timbers. Before any repairs could begin, we carefully stripped back the roof to assess the full extent of the deterioration. All rotten timbers were removed and replaced or spliced with new Douglas fir, chosen to match the original structure. We then installed new lead gutters and flashings before reinstating the roof, ensuring the building is now structurally sound and protected for the long term. Here are a few photos showing the progression of our restoration work.
