National Justice Museum Restoration 2 - Chimney Stacks

In Nottingham’s Historic Lace Market area stands the National Justice Museum, situated within the grade II* listed Shire Hall, a building we have recently worked on.

On the flat roof at the Southern end of Shire Hall there are 7 large chimney stacks. Each was in a varying state of disrepair, with the original pointing and bricks wearing away due to weather conditions. Therefore, each stack was repointed with lime mortar where needed and selected pots were reset and re flaunched.
