Historic Building Restoration - Full Project Management
This was a full restoration of the front facade of the building which we project managed.
​
The restoration included re-gilding of the weather vane, restoration of the clock face, cleaning of the facade of the building, stone replacements and re-pointing, the installation of a new bird-wire system, sash window refurbishment and redecoration and refurbishment of the louvres to the clock tower.
Minster Stone Restoration
Working on this prestigious historic Minster, we removed and replaced various worn stones with new, hand-carved stones to match.

The Rebuild & Restoration of 13 Stone Arches at the Head of a Lake on a Country Estate
This project involved the complete restoration of 13 large stone arches at the head of a lake on a country estate.
​
12 of the arches were no longer standing and the stones were stored in a barn so we had to painstakingly match the stones together to rebuild the arches, using modern structural techniques to ensure they remain stable.
​
On this project we also worked with an environmental conservation specialist to ensure the relocation of newts, frogs and toads.

Historic Building Chimney Restoration
On this country house we carried out the complete rebuild of several large chimney stacks.
​
Once rebuilt we re-rendered them all in Lime render, using age-old techniques, using a 'horse' to form the cornice detail.
War Memorial Sensitive Cleaning & Restoration
Here we completed the sensitive and delicate cleaning of a War Memorial, using steam, to give the required finish for the client.

Medieval Well Restoration
On this project we had the opportunity of re-siting a medieval well, to be showcased on the newly constructed site for the client.
